What does it mean when a villager invites you to their house?
If you agree, you'll immediately return home with them. During their visit, they can comment on your home decor, give you a little something for having them over, ask you to play a card game with them, and even ask for to be taken on a tour of all of your different rooms.
Visitors are when a villager asks to come over to the player's home, to which they can say yes or no. It can also happen the other way around where a villager can ask the player to visit their home. If the player says "yes" they must choose the time and date that they or the player will arrive.
A villager visiting a player's house will take their leave after being there for around 5 minutes, longer if the house has multiple rooms. When the visitor wants to see a different room, they will say "Hey!
Villager Requests
Every so often, a villager may come up to you with a question, request, or you may find them with a little thought bubble over their head. Speak to them and they'll likely have something to ask you about or maybe just give you a gift.
Give your villagers food — you can just throw it at them — until hearts appear above their heads. This means that they're willing.
We've found that if you talk to a villager more than five times, they'll get burnt out and won't want to talk to you for a bit. You don't want to seem clingy, so make sure to restrain yourself a bit.
Remember when you kicked out an "ugly" villager to make room for Raymond? Yeah, they remember too.
Villagers can open wooden doors in minecraft and cannot open iron ones. They can not open any type of trapdoors regardless if it is made of wood. Villagers can not open gates and cannot jump over them or fences (just like most mobs).
If you hit them once on accident, it's no harm, no foul. However, if you hit a villager repeatedly, they'll get irritated and tell you how they feel about it. Can villagers claim your bed?
A villager will claim a bed if: They are within a 48 block sphere of the bed. It is 'pathfinding'. The bed is not already claimed by another villager.
All you need to do is ask them not to leave. After this, when you return to the island as your main character, the villager will let you know they have changed their minds.
Trick-Or-Treat with Villagers
Any costumed villagers wandering around the island can and will approach players for candy. If players don't have any candy in their pockets, the villager will let them go without a trick, but will request that the player acquire some candy.
The mustachioed villager is a smug personality type and will occasionally flirt with the player, regardless of gender.
You can kidnap a villager by using a boat.
And, if you encounter monsters, they will be much faster than you, so be sure to kill them and protect the villager. Once you've done this, you will have to do it all over again since you need two villagers.
"Gifted" villagers maintain any clothing they've been given, as well as the catchphrase given to them by the player. "Ungifted" villagers, on the other hand, are still in their "original" form -- they are the same as one would get from inviting a camper via Amiibo or going island-hopping.
If you want a certain job, you'll need to place the job block that corresponds with the desired job next to an Unemployed Villager. The job assigned to the villager will determine what trades they will offer. If you don't have an Unemployed Villager, you can destroy the job block a villager is using.

No. Villagers don't take items from any containers - even ones that are their workstations. The only exception is farmer composting plants in his composter and taking the bonemeal it produces. But chests, barrels, smokers, blast furnaces etc are safe.
The easiest way to get villagers to move out is to ignore them. Now, this is not a fast process, but if you're patient, it will work. One way to speed this process up is to do some time traveling, but even that's not a guarantee you'll get the desired neighbor to move promptly.
Villagers should be able to see you stealing from chests in the village and tell any local Iron Golems that someone is stealing. This wouldn't cause the Iron Golem to attack the player initially, but if you get caught two or three times, then it would attack you.

Another way to encourage a villager to leave your Animal Crossing island is by complaining to Isabelle.
However, Brewster does warn players about the consequences of drinking too much coffee in the game. Several players have tried drinking too much coffee in the game despite Brewster's warnings. So far, nobody has reported any actual consequences to this activity, rendering the pigeon's warnings pointless.

Will villagers leave on a birthday?
Villagers will also not ask to move if their house is being moved, their birthday was in the last week, or if they were the most recent villager who talked about moving out and you told them to stay.
Villagers will breed autonomously, but need doors and need to be willing in order to spawn baby villagers. After exactly 20 minutes during which the baby villager is within render distance, the baby villager will grow up to an adult. See this section for more information.
Baby zombie villagers are spawned when a zombie kills a baby villager, the chance of infection being the same as adult zombie villagers.

The maximum number of villagers you can have living on your island is 10. The first time you'll be able to invite new villagers to your island will be after Nook's Cranny opens. Tom Nook will give you three housing kits to place around the island.
Lazy villagers, normal villagers, and smug villagers are 22, 23, and 24.
New Horizons villagers often request to leave a player's island when they have been ignored by them for a very long time. This is one of the easiest ways in which players can get rid of villagers they don't want on their island anymore.
There is currently no way to check a friendship level with villagers so noting which interactions are possible with each villager is the best way of monitoring progress. You'll also gain some Nook Rewards for specific tiers.
Can Animal Crossing villagers fall in love with you?
Nintendo does not allow Animal Crossing: New Horizons villagers to fall in love with players. Villagers in New Horizons cannot form any romantic relationships with players since Nintendo does not feature romance in the life-simulation title.

The second way occurs when:
- The villager tries to sleep.
- The villager is at least 150 blocks away in TAXICAB DISTANCE metric.
- The villager is 'pathfinding'.
The key for breeding villagers is to create enough beds for every villager plus one. Villagers generally won't breed unless there is an extra bed available for the child. Place the beds, including the extra one, near your villagers.
Villagers do not breed on their own. Villagers need to unlock their willingness by completing a trade with a player. Once that trade is done and there are enough unclaimed beds, the villagers will trade when they have their required food.
Villagers must have enough beds within village bounds for baby villagers to spawn.
There must be at least one bed for each villager, and each bed must be reachable by some villager. If there is an excess of beds, villager breeding commences.
Villagers always wake up on top of the bed, meaning they can suffocate if there isn't enough room above the bed.
They can also be interacted with to learn the Villager's birthday and their favorite saying. In short, if you have a Villager's Photo, that means you share a very close friendship with them.
Complaining to Isabelle about a villager also won't move characters out, it'll simply reset them. Some folks must realize this, but it isn't stopping them from doing all sorts of things to their villagers. Characters get ganged up on; they'll get trapped; angry signs plead for their departure; moats will be erected.
