Solid biofuel is the best biofuel, that I know of, but coal power is so much better than bio. Just rush coal power as quick as you can. It will save you a lot of time and effort once you get it setup. In tier 3 you'll unlock coal power which is automatable.

Not worth the time and effort. This is what all the geothermal sites look like on an isolated grid. It gives a constant 4100 mw and peaks at about 4700. It's still a decent amount of juice so i wouldn't dismiss it outright.
Biomass Power can be semi-automated by automating the crafting of Biomass or Solid Biofuel, while the collection of Leaves or Woods and the refueling of Biomass Burners must be done manually.

In order to drive the Satisfactory Tractor, you first need to make sure that it has Fuel in its tank. You do so by going to its back and interacting with its workbench. This will open its inventory screen and, to the left, you should see a fuel tank which will, hopefully be full.
