An object is a home for your data. Objects collect and store customer info so your teams can easily find it. Standard objects are already set up for you, based on the data collected by our most successful customers. Service Cloud allows you to connect data sets through object relationships.
Standard objects are objects that are included with Salesforce. Common business objects like Account, Contact, Lead, and Opportunity are all standard objects.
