It’s been a while since my last Freebie Friday but I’m excited to have a new one for you guys today, and this one is a new favorite of mine! I struggled to give it a name and eventually went with “High Hope” which is something that quite resonates with my life at the moment.
This curve really enriches the green and fixes the contrast of the overall image while keeping the highlights and shadows soft. I think it works nicely for outdoor portraits. Try dragging the sliders below to the left and right to see the changes in the photos!
⊳ TIPS: After applying the curve to your photo, I find it helpful to play around with the Opacity slider in the Layers panel. This gives you control over the curve’s effect, so adjust it to your need. For example, the last photo below is edited at 76% opacity. You can also add some grain to replicate the film effect.
As always, the file comes with instructions to install the curve in Photoshop. Let me know how you like it and feel free to check out the past few freebies if you’re interested!
